An ARK Story Pt 1/4 for 

Gather around ladies & gentlemen because I have a tale to tell about a fellow Arker who to this day shares his story of how he made his transformation from a mere boy to a fierce warrior of the sea after taming one of the most fearsome beasts to have swam these vast waters. This is his story...

Hailing from the Northern side of the Island's coastline lives a small but well known fishing community known as the Moga clan (English: Clearwater). The Inhabitants of Moga are well known for their trades that can only obtained from the depths of the briny ocean floor. Due to this, the people of Moga over time evolved specialised lungs to withstand the duration of time they spend in the waters as well as the ability to survive enormous pressure from the depths of the abyss. It is also a fact that Moga is settled in the very spot where Ghaari (English: Trilobite) come to breed, drawn mysteriously to the soothing glow of the full moon that passes every 5th T'hoshi (English: Year).
The Ghaari are important towards the people of Moga & their way of life. They produce special oils that the people use for cooking & fuel, the pearls that grow in their bodies can be used as a national currency for allied tribes to use, their shells make great armour as well as crafting other useful textiles & last of all their meat is considered a rare delicacy prized among the highest tier members of the Moga community.

It is a Mogan's duty to hunt & retrieve their Ghaari everyday to satisfy their families as well as their community, But finding their prey is the easy part retrieving the prize however is a different story. Many have paid the price to bring back such a precious tidbit, losing their lives to the many beastly predators that lurk in the watery depths.

It was until one day, a young lad with a strange necklace has come to afoot stepping into the ranks of his fallen brothers, the one the Mogan villagers call "The Timeless One". Legends say that as a boy he wrangled himself a Khaniqio (English: Megalodon) with nothing but a driftwood branch & a will of steel as he wrestled & overpowered the mighty leviathan into submission. Eager, this boy set his sights in the open waters of Moga's boundaries. Within mere minutes the young lad made it towards the breeding grounds of Ghaari with the help of the living proof turned steed, Undertow.But as he was about to score his first kill, a tremor surged the blue as an avalanche of stone caught his attention in the far distance.
But to his surprise he witnessed with his own eyes a beast the Moga clan feared as well as worshipped as a bestial God, a Kokoa Wongha
(English: Dunkleosteus). Every inch of the monster fish showed its true majesty every fin, shell & scale gleamed in a brilliant glow like a metallic silver, its tail like a sweeping blade & its jaws like an iron trap evolutionarily perfected not only to slice like a battle axe but also crush like a war hammer.
But towards this moment, the beast was trapped & dazed from the fallen rocks. Matters worsened as the Creature is introduced to newer threats.
Nhuka (English: Eurypterid) are usually the natural predators of Ghaari or other small critters that inhabit the seabed picking them off with their specialised claws & stunning them with a neurotoxic venom that resides in their stinger, But Nhuka can also be opportunistic hunters when they come into realisation that they have the upper hand.

Fortunately their attempts were quickly thwarted as the Timeless one sent his mega Shark comrade to rescue the God beast. Within a split second, the blue water thickened with blood as Undertow reduced the cluster of predators to pieces. Within the right timing the Top predator of these waters owed a debt to the Timeless One as they both forged a pact as part of a new "partnership".
The Pact became official as the young lad searched into his heart & entitled him to his newfound name...
